Our History

Our journey since we started

  • LADA is well known for our success in bringing to fruition business ideas that seem unusual to most common business types in Uganda including the commercialization of Privately owned forests which has traditionally been a government reserve for decades.

  • This is because LADA Limited thoroughly understands the concept of “Livelihoods”, i.e. the source of Living, employment, incomes, funds, revenue and means of support to a meaningful life for most rural people and LADA is well positioned to transform such livelihoods into profitable business ventures.

  • Mr. BD Sande, current CEO of LADA was Chairman Board of Directors for the UNDP support to Private Sector Development in the Kigezi region from 2002 to 2006.
